WE ARE THRILLED TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE 90-DAY COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN FOR THE 3RD EMANCIPATION BALL, CHICAGO’S PREMIERE JUNETEENTH EVENT, TAKING PLACE AT THE PICTURESQUE ROCKWELL ON THE RIVER IN CHICAGO.
SET ALONGSIDE THE ICONIC CHICAGO RIVER, THE EMANCIPATION BALl WILL OFFER A DISTINCTIVE EVENING FILLED WITH ENTERTAINMENT, ENGAGING ACTIVITIES, TASTINGS, AN OPEN BAR FEATURING BLACK OWNED LIQUOR COMPANIES AND RESTAURATEURS HIGHLIGHTING OUR CULTURAL CUISINE, FROM SOUL TO VEGAN AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN.
THE INAUGURAL EMANCIPATION BALL TOOK PLACE AT CHICAGO’S MOST ICONIC LOCATION, THE WILLIS TOWER. SITTING ATOP THE CITY’S LANDSCAPE ON THE 99TH FLOOR SKYDECK, ATTENDEES ENJOYED A CELEBRATORY EVENING IN AN ENVIRONMENT FIT FOR KINGS AND QUEENS.
COVERED BY MULTIPLE MEDIA OUTLETS, THE EMANCIPATION BALL SOLIDIFIED ITS STATUS AS ONE OF THE CITY’S MOST NOTABLE JUNETEENTH EVENTS. GUESTS ENJOYED TOP-TIER ENTERTAINMENT AND CUISINE, LEAVING THEM WITH AN EXPERIENCE THAT THEY WILL NOT SOON FORGET.
2023’s Emancipation Ball paid off on its promise of Community, Culture, and Commerce. Moor’s Brewing Company provided a fully immersive experience filled with sights, sounds, tastes, and movement that all culminated into a memorable experience of Black Excellence for those in attendance.
Highlighting over 15 Black-Owned Businesses and Sponsor Partners, The Emancipation Ball drove home the message of unity throughout the community.
Supported by corporate sponsors and local businesses, the 2023 EMANCIPATION BALL featured an array of Black and Brown businesses and entertainers.
